George Strait Confesses At The Age Of 71 She Was the Love of His Life

The Iconic George Strait is the embodiment of a country man through and through, as evidenced by his authentic cowboy looks and successful country music career, but what the world does not know is that a large part of his success is attributed to a woman. In a recent interview, he confessed that the woman who helped him gain the level of fame he had today was the true love of his life. Who is this woman? And how did he rise to fame? Join us as we unveil the life of George Strait as never seen before and reveal the ultimate love of his life.

George Harvey Strait Senior was born in Poteet, Texas, to John Bryon Strait Senior and Doris Jean Couser on May 18, 1952. His father was a junior high school math teacher who owned about 2000 acres of land that was used as a cattle ranch outside and the family spent most of their weekends and summer breaks working on the ranch together.

Life was balanced for the Strait family, as their wealth grew gradually but as fate would have it, nothing lasts forever. George would face one of the hardest times of his life in the fourth grade. His mother and father got divorced, and his mother moved away with George's little sister, Pency, to another location while the young icon and his older brother, John Buddy Junior, remained with their father. Despite the sudden changes in the family, John Bryon Strait Senior took on the role of a single parent quite well, and he also cared for both his sons.
