Professor Sean Watts remarks on the Lieber Institute and Lieber’s partnership with Army Futures Command.

The Future Character of War and The Law of Armed Conflict event on April 22, 2021. Organized jointly by Army Futures Command and The Lieber Institute for Law and Land Warfare at West Point, the event stressed the importance of thinking through possible legal implications in future war in advance. The event includes an introduction to the partnership between the Lieber Institute and Army Futures Command, an overview of Army Futures Command’s work, an overview of the future character of warfare in 2035 and beyond, and a number of highlighted legal issues.
