In their Magical Mystery Tour, we saw John Paul George and Ringo dressed as wizards. I love the idea of the four of them, blending their powers together, coming together as one to create something beautiful: wizards indeed!
Ringo has said "Come Together" is his favourite Beatles song. Ringo's creativity shines through, as it does in so much or their material, but if he had been playing with lesser talents that wouldn't have mattered. It's the way the whole band locks in to the groove, everybody riding the same big wave, that gives the song its power. Like the quantum wave function, they come together as one, creating something worthy of our praise and wonder.
