Armor All Ultra Shine Headlight Restoration Wipes are inexpensive and can be effective. But it sounds like they don't work well for everyone. I'd reckon it has something to do with the condition of the headlamps.

I restored the headlights on my 1999 Civic (a.k.a. Slambo) years back with the 3M Restoration kit. A few years later, I touched them up and used the 3M preserving wipes. They were in good shape, but yellowed and hazy.

I didn't read all of the unhappy reviews until after I used Armor All Ultra Shine Headlight Restoration Wipes. It seems like a lot of folk had poor results. Maybe I got lucky? I'm not a big fan of Armor All, overall, but I was looking for a budget-priced product and this looked to fit the bill.

I did follow the instructions closely. I used two cleaning wipes on each headlamp, and a single preserving wipe on each headlamp.

Each headlamps was washed and dried before using the Armor All Ultra Shine Headlight Restoration Kit.
