Did you accidentally bend the little brass thingy on your Presta valve while inflating your bike tyre, ending with a bent top of the tube valve? No worries! I've got three simple ways to get your bike back on the road in no time.

Step 1 - Replace the Valve Core
Sometimes, all it takes is swapping out the damaged valve core with a new one. You'll need a spare Presta valve core and a Presta valve remover.
If your valve core won't come out, let's move on to Step 2.

Step 2 - Try to Straighten It Out
Grab a pair of pliers and gently bend the brass nut back into shape. If it doesn't snap, your valve is good to go. If it does break, don't worry, we've got one more option in Step 3.

Step 3 - Replace the Inner Tube
If your valve has snapped, and you can't replace the core, your best option is to change the entire innertube. While it might be a bit more work, this method will get your bike back in working order.
