I spend a weekend with the 2021 Mazda3 Turbo AWD Hatchback and find that there's a lot to like. With 250 hp and 320 lb/ft of torque, it's a strong performer, even with the taller gearing of the Mazda 6 speed auto. By giving it a torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system and a great chassis, Mazda has created a fun-to-drive, great handling hot hatch. It's the better WRX hatchback that Subaru refuses to make. Beyond that, the Mazda has an impressively luxurious interior for its price tag of $29,900 starting and $34,820 as-tested that easily feels much nicer than even the VW GTI. If you're looking for a sporty AWD hatchback these days, your choices are very limited, but thankfully the Mazda 3 Turbo is a great new option. What do you think of the Mazda3 Turbo?
