Join this Lamborghini Miura S and it’s owner on an evening drive through Northern California and learn about the amazing story behind this amazing piece of automotive history. Enjoy full-throttle fly-bys, start-up, raw exhaust clips, onboard driving shots and cinematic clips featuring the detailed lines of the Miura S.

This Miura S originally was owned by an Abarth racing driver in Northern Italy where it was crashed during a track day at Monza. The car was taken back to Lamborghini and rebuilt using the same VIN to avoid additional taxes and counted twice in the production run of roughly 748 Miuras ever produced.

The Lamborghini Miura S is one of the most significant pieces of automotive design thanks to its ingenious group of engineers and designers that took part in its development. Gian Paolo Dallara, Bob Wallace, Paolo Stanzani, Marcello Gandini, and Giotto Bizzarrini all played a major role in its development. Dallara, Wallace, and Stanzani developed the prototype, while Giotto Bizzarrini developed the V12, and 25-year-old Gandini was in charge of the interior and exterior design. In the end, the car was given a mid-engine layout, a tremendous V12 (that was in use through 2011 in various iterations) and stunning design cues still in use today.

Enjoy raw engine sounds, startup, full throttle flybys, backfires and onboard footage.
