This video will show you how to replace the timing belt, harmonic balancer belt, water pump, camshaft seal, crankshaft seal, tensioner pulleys, and crank and balance shaft sensors on a 1999 Honda Accord I4 F series 2.3L engine. This engine was also used in some Acura cars as well (i.e. CL). In this particular repair, the balance shaft belt broke, the balance shaft sensor broken off its mounting point and the timing belt jumped out of alignment. Oil was also leaking from the valve cover gasket and the upper and lower timing belt covers were damaged. Replacement covers and sensors were obtained from the salvage yard. This vehicle had 220,000 miles.
