Although the most scientifically accepted foundation of weight loss is sufficient reduction of calorie intake to create a calorie deficit, people are often taught an approach to achieve such deficit that can often lead to failure. More specifically, we are taught what would be considered the "common sense" approach, which is that to reduce calorie intake, you reduce food intake. And yes, in all technicality, that is true, but yet telling people to simply "eat less" has not been a successful weight loss strategy for many people.

But what if the approach is something else? What if the approach is, interestingly, the opposite?
