FULL RESTORATION COMPLETE!

This is a late 1970's Rado Voyager!
Featuring an Eta 2836-2 automatic movement.

This piece completes the Trilogy of the eta 2800 series that I just so happened to get lined up.

The Bulova
The Mido
& Finally the Rado Voyager.

Just like the other 2 pieces that I completed Restoration on , this one as well has a hack feature, though I added this one because the hacking lever was not inside movement when I got it.

This movement also has day/date feature along with quickset feature.

Fully Restored Original dial accented with these beautiful Black Gloss Hands with new Luminous applied to each hour marker and the hour and minute hand.

The original bracelet is in overall good condition, I just cleaned it up and gave it a nice polish. The case itself was in overall good condition and I also just cleaned it up really good and gave it a mirror polish on the sides and back and lightly touched up the corners preserving some of the age of this Rado Voyager.

The movement, well thats a different story. Pretty much the entire keyless system was saturated in corrosion and rust. I ended up replacing over 9 parts inside this movement not counting the new mainspring . Full overhaul and xtra attention was given to keep this eta 2836-2 on the wrist. But the results were very pleasing.

Just like the other 2 movements, this one runs like a Champ and is timed in 4 positions with a +/-3 second outcome.
