New Parts Arrive for my Crashed BMW, Including a BMW M2 Competition Style Front Bumper! My BMW M135i is looking a little sorry for itself having been partially stripped down in the previous episode but with the M2 comp front bumper from MJ Modifications and other goodies now here, in this episode, I make some REAL progress on it!

I got my crashed BMW M135i 2015 for £9k including all fees and delivery and given that the BMW F20 was made in large numbers, I expected a lot of cheap parts to be available. However, they are taking a bit more finding than I thought!

Back to my crashed BMW project! The BMW M2 competition style front bumper from MJ modifications took quite a lot of test fits and trimming to make it fit my BMW M135i. It turns out that the BMW F20 has lots of options for equipment on the front bumper and the M2 comp style bumper that I bought needed quite a lot of “fettling” to make it fit.

Regarding other parts, the BMW M135i 2015 was the first year of the facelift (known as LCI) and this halved the number of parts that I previously “thought” were available because the F20 LCI facelift version was only made 2015 to 2019, which is about half of the full production run. Hey ho, you live and learn, I knew that fixing up a crashed BMW would be a learning curve and so it has proved to be with my salvage BMW!
