In this session, I provide a very brief introduction to how you can use access to a Bloomberg terminal, a lucky break to begin with, to get basic information on a company. While very little of the information is proprietary, and you can get the same information from other sources, having a Bloomberg can speed the process. (I will do a future session on using public sources to get the same data). While I cover only a couple of the Bloomberg commands in the session, the attached document provides a more comprehensive listing of useful Bloomberg commands for getting company data.
