The new Maserati MC20 arrived with great fanfare, but let's find out what it's like and whether it lives up to the hype! Join me at Maserati Köln, Jacob's Sportscars for a first drive and run on the Autobahn to experience it in full. What do you think about the MC20?

The Maserati MC20 marks a return to mid-engine sportscars for the Italian marque, coming almost two decades after the MC12; a 50-run homologation special for the FIA GT and GT1 championships where it had great success. However the MC20 is something new, more of a daily GT supercar with an in-house 3.0l TT V6 engine named Nettuno.

I'm in Cologne, Germany at Maserati Köln for a full look at the new MC20, to run through all of the details and head out for a first test drive including a blast on the Autobahn to see what it's like. It's fitted with winter tyres considering the time of year and temperatures, but there's a lot to like about the new Maserati. It has more than enough quirks including the price point relative to other options on the market, but ultimately marks an exciting time for the company with a future EV, hybrid and Spider variant on the horizon too.
