This time we're working on our vans hot water system which will heat the water in our tank using the air from our diesel heater and the Bobil Vans heat exchanger kit!

We needed a van hot water system that would work well with the recirculating shower that we're building, so the DIY kit from Bobil Vans (@bobilvans4205) looked great.

It uses a heat exchanger and diverter that fits inline in our diesel heater air ducting to give us both hot air to heat the van, or hot air to heat the water.

And we're also using the solar upgrade kit so we can get free hot water in our van using the sun if the weather is good!

After drilling a lot of holes (!) we hooked it all up to test how quickly it could give us a tank of hot water... it was quite a fun project!
