The Ukelin was a trade name for what was primarily a bowed psaltery combined with a small palate of strum-able chords for the left hand which is the most backwards thing I've ever tried to play. They came out in the mid-1920's and have become forgotten to history, probably because nobody could play them or keep them in tune!
