This video shows how to replace the computer controlled carburetor or feedback carburetor and the distributor on a Ford 4.9 6 cylinder engine. In the late 80's, Ford added a computer to their carbureted 6 cylinders in order to help with fuel efficeincy. After over 30 years, those sensors, solenoids, and ignition systems can cause many problems. This is solved by installing an HEI ignition system that only requires a switched 12V source and replacing the feedback carb with a carburetor meant for an early 80's 6 cylinder.
