I teach you how to repair the brake light switch of any car, also called a sensor, bulb or stop switch, watch this tutorial until the end and you will be able to do it yourself very easily and quickly, and you will also save a lot of money.
In this case I am going to repair the brake light switch on a Nissan Tiida but it is the same procedure on other car brands.

The function of the brake light sensor is to send a signal to the computer when the brake pedal is pressed and with that reading it decreases the engine speed and also turns on the rear taillight bulbs to indicate to other drivers that the car is slowing down or coming to a complete stop.

When the brake light switch is already damaged, the following faults will occur in the car: loss of engine power, the brake lights stay on at all times or do not come on, the car remains braked, the brake lever changes cannot be moved in automatic transmissions and the yellow check light on the instrument panel comes on and when a scanner is inserted, the fault code p1805 appears.

To solve the failures caused by the brake light switch you have to do the following: check the fuse, check that the cables are not broken and check that the harness is not broken, clean the sensor with an electrical component cleaner or repair it and change the sensor because it is short circuited or already damaged.
