This week I spent some time in the facelifted 2021 Audi Q5!! This particular example came in the very base flavor of Premium package 45 TFSI !! Actually, this car was only a couple grand off of the $43k starting price of the entire lineup...

Despite that price, this car did NOT feel like a 'base' trim vehicle. With the exception of the missing sunroof, and the 18" wheels, I would not have even known just how base it was. This is a testament to what this facelift provides.

Sure the outside may look a bit sharper, it's been brought into the new decade and now matches the current Audi design language a bit better. But the real star of the show is on the inside, where you get a lovely and updated touchscreen MMI system which completely revamps how you interact with the car.

Furthermore, the car now makes a bit more power and receives a mild hybrid system which aids its auto stop/start feature... bringing the car to and from a stop much much more smoothly.

All in all, I was not only impressed with this facelifted Q5, even in the Premium 45 TFSI trim, but I actually now feel as though the Q5 has regained its footing in the ever expanding and competitive SUV/Crossover scene!
