Updates on the Xterra: the rear differential had a LOT of metal stuck to the drain plug magnet. The transfer case and front diff were similar, but not quite as bad. I "fixed" the noisy radiator fan by replacing the incredibly viscous silica in the fan clutch with Lucas Oil Stabilizer, and I'm pretty sure I'm the first person to have ever done this. I also replaced the front and rear sway bar bushings, but we're still getting a clunking coming from the rear end.

For the tires, the Falken Wildpeak AT3W's aren't quite as aggressive as we were hoping for, but they ride very well, and we're still excited to try them out in mild off road scenarios.
