The RAM 1500 comes in many different trims, typically we're in the most expensive but not always affordable versions. This week James is checking out the 2023 RAM 1500 Big Horn with the Backcountry package to see how this full-size pickup truck performs.

We've driven about half a dozen RAM pickup trucks over the years, mostly the higher-end Limited or Laramie Longhorn, but this week we're behind the wheel of a slightly more affordable full-size pickup from RAM, in the Big Horn trim. Still clocking in around $72,000 CAD, this truck isn't cheap by any means, but might be a bit easier to get into for some.

This truck comes well equipped with the Backcountry package, along with some added tech like a video rearview camera, head-up display, navigation, trailer steer assist, LED lighting, and more.

James goes over all the exterior and interior design elements along with the features and tech found on this pickup truck. He then takes the 2023 RAM 1500 Big Horn on a road test to see how this truck performs in the real world, along with his thoughts on the 5.7L Hemi V8 engine.
