We finally get back out to sea to take on Portland Bill and continue our 1700mile journey around the UK, despite it being the middle of winter. In this episode we pick up where we left off in Weymouth and attempt to travel 65 miles to Paignton in Devon, stopping in at Lyme Regis to look for Fossils.

Portland Bill is widely regarded as the most treacherous stretch of water in Northern Europe. The tidal stream and it's position in the channel makes it tricky.

The boat is an old Avon SR4 Searider from 1977. I made a series about restoring it.
I filmed this episode on the Panasonic s1 and used a gopro 7 and the drone is a Phantom 4 pro +.
