MAGICAL Cake for the Holiday! Black Forest cake! Chocolate cake with cherries! It's a chocolate sponge cake with a layer of whipped cream and cherries, and topped with chocolate chips.

1 cup = 250 ml.
Ingredients and preparation:
Hello friends.
Today I baked a chocolate cake with cherries.
● Dark chocolate ganache cream:
Dark chocolate (200 g / 2 bars).
Whipped cream 33-38% (100 ml / 2/5 cups)
Heat in the microwave or in a water bath.
Unsalted butter (1 teaspoon).
Whipped cream 33-38% (310 ml / 1 + 1/4 cups)

Place in the refrigerator until cool.
● Chocolate sponge cake:
3 eggs
Sugar (90 g / 2/5 cups).
Flour (70g / 2/5 mugs + 1 tsp)
Cocoa powder (20 g / 1.5 tbsp).
Melt the butter (20 g / 1.5 tbsp).
Mold with a diameter of 18 cm (7.1").
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C (356 F) for 20 minutes.
Let the biscuit cool.
● Cherry layer:
Pitted cherries (300 g/ 1 + 1/4 cups)
Sugar (60 g / 1/4 cup)
Vanilla tincture or kirsch (1 tbsp)
Heat until boiling.
Drain the juice (100 ml / 2/5 cups).
Corn starch (12 g / 1 tbsp)
Water (35 ml / 1 tbsp + 1 tsp)
Bring to a boil and cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
Place in the refrigerator until cool.
Cut the biscuit into 2 parts.
Beat the ganache with a mixer until fluffy and smooth.
Place in a piping bag fitted with a round tip.
Soak the sponge cake with cherry syrup.
Assemble the cake as in the video.
Whipped cream 33-38% (150 ml / 3/5 cups)
Sugar (20 g / 1 tbsp).
About 50 g chocolate chips (1/3 cup).
Decorate as desired and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
