We tried everything we could (short of a frame swap) to fix the 4Runner. But we're making the "smart" decision to cut our losses and pick out something similar, newer and from the south. We decided on a 2014 Nissan Xterra. The Xterra's are reliable, stout and very capable off road. But this one needs a little bit of TLC.
