Surreal is an understatement! If you've ever wondered how sets get designed, films get shot, and crazy visuals get produced, this featurette is for you! This is not your ordinary go-behind-the-scenes!

Step into the devilish mind of filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos (‘The Lobster’) while you walk through some elaborate sets filled with curious props, camera rigs, and LED walls used to capture and create the fantastic visual effects for his incredibly fun and dark comedy - the incredible tale and fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Under Baxter’s protection, Bella is eager to learn. Hungry for the worldliness she is lacking, Bella runs off with Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), a slick and debauched lawyer, on a whirlwind adventure across the continents. Free from the prejudices of her times, Bella grows steadfast in her purpose to stand for equality and liberation.

The film also stars Ramy Youssef, Christopher Abbott, Suzy Bemba, Jerrod Carmichael, Kathryn Hunter, Vicki Pepperdine, Margaret Qualley, and Hanna Schygulla.

The film’s quirky and stylized visual effects are created by Union VFX.

The film is produced by Searchlight Pictures.
