00:00 During a recent automotive training project I helped recruit and hire 5 new car salespeople. I did the initial new hire 1 week sales training, and then did one on one auto sales coaching three times per week for the newly hired dealership salespeople. I asked them to learn different word tracks to handle common dealership lot objections and car buying objections during the negotiations. I conducted a role play contest for the 5 new car salespeople at Ford dealership. This is a video I made for the managers to use as an "answer guide" so they can help judge for the automotive buying objection rebuttal word tracks.

**Below is the message I sent to the car & truck sales managers**

Car Buying Objection Word Track Contest

What I tested them on:
-Greeting
3:07 -I want to think about it (Universal)
-I want to think about it (Before #s)
4:08 -Bypass Payment
-Market Based Pricing or Pre-discount Explanation
4:48 -Don't Want A Demo (No Time)
5:00 -Don't Want A Demo (Already drove it)
5:35 -Trail Close After Demo
-Advanced Ad Credit
-Just Looking
- I let them pick one of two trade objection rebuttals: Auction Trade Close or Relative to Value

How it will be judged:
-Content (the Words)
-Tone and Voice Inflection

What they Win:
-$100 Visa Gift Card!

To make it simple just send me a score for each salesperson on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest. I will add all scores together for the winner.

I hope you found these dealership buying objections and automotive buying objections helpful.

Special shout out for their contributions:

Andy Elliott-Auction Trade Objection Close & "I want to think about it car, truck, van, suv," buying objection.
Jonathan Dawson-Relative To Value Trade Objection Close & "I am just looking" car buying objection rebuttal.
Joe Verde-"I want to think about it."
