I swapped my Mercedes Vito for a Mercedes V Class and this is my opinion on the vehicle after daily driving it for a few months.
My V Class is a 220 LWB Sport and I love it, in all honesty its one of the best cars I have ever owned. Sure its not the most sporty ride and the handling is van like, but what it lacks in this department it makes up for in luxury and practicality.

I am a film maker and photographer, so the nature of my job requires me to carry people and equipment. A estate car may just serve my needs, but on many occasions I would be lacking space.
Having the ability to carry 6 passengers and myself to a job, whilst having enough room in the boot for equipment is great.

I also have the option to slide the seats out of the way or remove them all together and I have enough load space for almost anything you can buy in Ikea!

At the weekend I can use the car for leisure, carrying everything and everyone required to visit the beach.

The Mercedes V Class isn't the best looking vehicle on the road, and it doesn't have the X factor, but I quite the under stated vibes. Being able to arrive under the radar is good and I am lucky enough to have another car to play with if I want some power!

The engine i have the 220 isn't the best, I would recommend the 250, although my MPG, road tax and overall economy is great. Again another reason why I am happy to lose out on what the 250 AMG V Class has to offer.

This film was shot on a Panasonic EVA 1 and Panasonic S5. The in car material was recorded on a DJI Osmo Action.
