Beautiful Landscapes and mystic castles is what you can expect when road tripping through the UK. On the first day on the Isle of Skye despite the rainy weather we started with a visit to the beautiful Sligachan Bridge which was on the way to the famous Fairy pools, one of the highlights on the Isle of Skye. Despite the rainy weather and the thousands of midges we enjoyed the little hike and enjoyed the beautiful waterfalls.

In the evening we went to Talisker Bay (Where the Talisker Whisky comes from). It's an impressive beach that we could enjoy all for ourselves.

On Day 2 we started with a 6.5km round hike at the Quiraing which has some of the most impressive landscapes we have ever seen. This was one of the absolute Highlights of our whole Road trip through the UK. On the whole hike at Quiraing there is not one section which is not beautiful.

Close to the Quiraing there is Brother's Point, which was our second hike for the day. The landscape is completely different but not less impressive. Steep cliffs raise directly from the sea and Brother's point itself is a beautiful landslide that can be hiked. It's not as famous as other spots on the Isle of Skye but therefore has less people.

On the last day we hiked up to the iconic Old Man of Storr during Sunrise, which definitely was the Highlight on the Isle of Skye and also the Highlight from the whole Road Trip through the UK in 2020. We were blown away by the beautiful landscape combined with the warm early morning light.

Before leaving the Isle of Skye we visited the Neist Point which is on the West Cost. This is one of the most beautiful coastline spots on the Isle of Skye.

After this is was already time to leave the Isle of Skye and go to Loch Ness where we visited Urquhart Castle before heading further south to Northumberland and the Hadrians Wall
