Many times we lose hope and inspiration in becoming the best we can become. We do look back into the history of Islam, and we do get inspiration, However for the vast majority of people it is a sort of conditional type. What I mean by this is that some people would think that those were the Sahaba, and the Tabi'un, who lived hundreds of years back and we can never be like them, which is partly true due to the fact that they had the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) around them or a generation before them. But now you should have no excuse, since the sheikh in this lecture provides a real account of a boy, who displayed phenomenal character and qualities which — to me — resembled with one of the 'Greats' in Islamic History.
