Great Halloween 3D prints worthy of inclusion in your own personal scare zone or at a Halloween party often require extended 3d printing times or lots of post production work(sanding, assembly, painting, etc) That is why I absolutely loved creating timelapses of these Reaching Wall Hands by FOR63 on Thingiverse. The 3D printed hand in this video is the one labeled “Devil Hand”. I printed it with my all time favorite color change filament for time lapses by Zi-Rui. These hands can be 3D printed with 0 infill and still come out amazing. Total print time was just over 2 hours! The design comes with a mounting bracket already built in if you want to hang them on your wall for a great haunted house effect or you can go a completely different route and bury these 3D Prints in the yard to give that real graveyard feel.

How Time Lapse 3D Prints Work
After each .2 MM layer( That is barely thicker than a sheet of paper!) the 3D printer pauses, moves the extruder to the rear of the printer, takes a photo and then continues the print giving the illusion of the print appearing from thin air.
