This certainly isn't the most direct way to go from Charlottesville to Richmond, but I wanted to see the Virginia countryside, so I took this route across the center of the state. We'll begin in Shadwell, Virginia, and head south on Virginia Route 20, then US Highway 15. Along the way we'll pass through Woodridge, Scottsville, and end up at Sprouses Corner, Virginia at US 60 -- which we'll take into Midlothian and Richmond in a separate video.

I made this trip around Labor Day 2023.
