It's hard to believe I quit social media 7 years ago. For 5 years, I went without ANY social media whatsoever, including YouTube. My decision to delete my Facebook account and go without any accounts such as Twitter, Instagram, etc., completely changed my life. At the time, I struggled with social anxiety and I had been going through a period of depression in my life. Social media kept me from freeing myself of this. In this video, I will share the 4 stages of social media withdrawal that I experienced when I deleted my accounts and the healing and positive effect it had on my life. I hope that sharing my experience will be helpful to you if you are thinking of quitting social media or you are going through social media withdrawal (it's definitely real and not easy), but please know that your experience will be as unique as you are!
