Let’s be real, Tesla has unparalleled tech but mediocre build quality and fit & finish. The differential becomes painfully pronounced when you juxtapose, say, a Model S with something German… or specifically, the king of build quality - the Porsche 993. Some may argue that Tesla is a tech company first and a car manufacturer second, but is that a valid excuse? Can a premium, luxury market car that costs over 6-figures really feel as cheap as a Dodge?

Is the EV tech superiority enough to turn a blind eye… or will these flaws finally become unacceptable as the market crowds with stronger competition?
