This was the most challenging day so far... I am becoming increasingly afraid that I'm going to finish putting everything together and NONE of it is going to work. So I want to prioritize work on the soundboard. That way, I can "test as I go", you know?

But in order to use the soundboard, I need to power the soundboard. And since my intention is to recharge the battery using a recharge port, I needed to wire the recharge port to the battery before I could connect the battery to the board. So there's the reasoning.

This was tough because there is a very specific way I needed to wire everything together. The battery has 2 wires coming out of it, and the recharge port has 3. So I had to splice/join wires in order to connect them to each other before I can connect them to the board.

Oh and also space. Space was an issue. Not OUTER space, I mean space inside the chassis. Things are very tight in there. Phrasing.

Oh and also I ran out of 20-22 AWG wire. Apparently the thinest wire gauge you can use for connecting power to the CFX board is 22 AWG. I only had 26 AWG, so I actually had to... ahem... "borrow"... some 20 AWG wire from my neopixel LED strips that I got from Adafruit. In the meantime, I went ahead and ordered several rolls of 22 and 24 AWG wire from Amazon so this doesn't happen again.

GOD I hope I did this right.
