Over the course of this weekend, starting at 7pm Friday 26th October, the DJ's and Presenters of HWD Hospital Radio have been hosting shows LIVE for 48hrs to raise money for the running of the station.

HWD is one of this country's longest running hospital radio stations, recently celebrating it's 60th birthday. It is funded by a charitable trust in the hospital's name - but even then, we need donations to keep the lights on and the station broadcasting.

We have been entrusted to raise our own funds, as well as donations directly to the station at hwdhospitalradio.com. I'm going the online route - and hopefully my FB and G+ family will dig deep for any amount - pennies, pounds - to help.

You can donate to a special PayPal account I've set up - [email protected] - and I'll be transferring this amount over to the hospitals account on MONDAY at 7pm. I'll be recording this and uploading the transfer tomorrow, highlighting everybody who has helped out.
