One month into ownership of our 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost, we had noticed that the car had a few issues that needed to be addressed. Unfortunately, these are some small things that can happen when you purchase a Rolls-Royce without a Pre-Purchase Inspection; however, luckily this particular 2010 Rolls Royce Ghost has 2 years of Provenance, meaning all maintenance and service is covered fully. Here’s some of what went wrong in our Rolls-Royce Ghost in the first month of ownership.

About this video: During the first 30 days of ownership with our used 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost, there were a few problems with the car that we needed to sort out. The biggest one - a Level Control Malfunction fault - was by far the most pressing, and this was the reason for the main service on the Rolls Royce Ghost. On top of the Rolls Royce Level Control Malfunction, we also had noticed an issue with a door seal being off, causing wind noise in the cabin of the 2010. Add to there, the first day we were driving the car, we noticed water intrusion in the front passenger footwell that needed to be addressed.

Lastly, there was an issue in our 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost that was quite new to us. Our Rolls-Royce Umbrella on the passenger side of the vehicle was stuck in the door and not releasing when the button was pressed. This was something that was quite odd, but thankfully Motorcars of Atlanta were able to quickly solve all of these problems on our used Rolls-Royce.

Throughout the entire process, we loved being able to work with Motorcars of Atlanta to service our 2010 used Rolls-Royce Ghost. Their service department was prompt, quick to respond, and made sure that every issue on our used Rolls-Royce was addressed thoroughly. Because of the Rolls-Royce Provenance program, they also handled shipping back and forth from our house to Rolls-Royce Atlanta without any hesitation. It was quite refreshing to have a car under such a solid warranty/service program, and I can confidently say, I will never purchase a used Rolls-Royce without the Provenance Program.

The Rolls-Royce Provenance Program covered every single repair on the vehicle with this repair, which we were more than thrilled with. Sure, you never want you used car to need a major repair within a few months of ownership, but with a 10 year old used Rolls Royce, problems happen. The vehicles are so over-engineered (in the best way possible) that it’s only normal for problems to occur in ownership. After all, this is a 10 year old, 25,000 mile vehicle that was built to be the best available on the market over 10 years ago. Things will go wrong, and thankfully, Provenance covers everything that can come up during ownership.

During our time with our car at the service department of Motorcars of Atlanta, we received updates every few days on what was wrong with our 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost. Chandler, our service advisor, was fantastic to work with, and we were both thankful to have a service advisor on our Rolls-Royce that addressed every concern from shipping to repairs. Within the first couple of days of our used Rolls Royce being at the dealership in Atlanta, we had a full breakdown of what the car would need and how long the repair would take. The parts needed to be ordered from the factory in Goodwood, and we were told they would be there within 10 days.

After two weeks of our used Rolls-Royce Ghost being away at service at Motorcars of Atlanta Rolls-Royce, we received notice that our used 2010 Rolls Royce Ghost from Goodwood was ready to be shipped back to us. Literally, within less than 24 hours, our Rolls-Royce Ghost was being unloaded from the truck in front of our house over 2 hours away from the dealership. I couldn’t ask for a better Rolls-Royce used ownership experience, and so far, I have literally nothing negative to say about owning a 10 year old used Rolls-Royce. It has been one of the greatest automotive experiences of my life, and I’m thankful to have the car back in the garage.

Thank you for watching this video update on our used Rolls-Royce Ghost from 2010. I hope you all enjoyed this insight into used Rolls-Royce Ghost ownership.
