6 driver selectable modes available with a convenient turn of a dial there are on the all new 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander! Let's check out what they all are!

Eco - this mode supports ecological and economical driving by optimizing powertrain characteristics. It automatically transfers torque to the rear wheels when loss of traction is detected to enhance the stability beyond the typical two wheel drive fuel efficient drive mode. Mainly front wheel drive otherwise. This mode has ECO pedal feature that teaches with a help of the Pedal Guide Display on how to drive more fuel efficiently. It will give you this green range that you need to be in for the maximum fuel economy.

Normal - offers well balanced 4 wheel drive dynamics resulting in enhanced fuel efficiency, traction, high speed stability and predictable handling across a variety of road conditions and driving styles.

Tarmac - provides enhanced agility and heightened performance such as rapid acceleration response and high cornering performance when traveling on dry paved roads.

Gravel - delivers maximum traction performance on coarser roads or whenever you might find yourself stuck in a rough patch of off road terrain. Good for flat unpaved roads.

Snow - provides improved traction and stability specifically for light to medium snow covered or very slippery roads.

Mud - enhances performance when driving through muddy or deep snow conditions, especially when accelerating and or turning from a stopped position by optimizing tire slip ratio.

The little button - Hill Descent Control - it’s the system that assists the steady driving with the constant speed when descending steep grades.
