In this video, our technical trainer Wes shows how to carry out an automatic transmission oil change on a Mercedes C-Class with 9G-Tronic and 725.0 transmission in the workshop in Hamburg. At the beginning of the video, Wes takes the car for a test drive and uses the MEYLE scan tool to check that there are no fault codes. Once everything is in order, the main service begins.

🚗 Preparation:Before diving in, Wes took a test drive and scanned the car using MEYLE's scan tool to ensure there are no codes, confirming it's ready for service.

🔧 Special Tools:

Cup to remove the drain plug
Hex key to adjust tubes for draining and filling
Adapter for refilling transmission MEYLE's KIT includes all these essentials, along with preinstalled filters, gasket, and magnets.
🛠 Procedure:

Access & Drain: Lift the car, remove the plastic panel, and locate the drain plug on the torque converter. Use the hex key to position the draining tube correctly.

Pan & Fill: Remove the oil pan, replace the torque converter plug, and fill the new pan with oil using position 1. Check the oil level at position 3.

Valve Flushing: Use MEYLE's scan tool for Mercedes' Valve flushing. Follow the on-screen prompts with the engine on and brake pedal pressed. Listen for valve sounds to confirm completion.

Final Checks: Once at operating temperature (around 38°C), drain excess oil and check the transmission level with the engine running. Use MEYLE's 7G-tronic filling pipe and transfer pump from the KIT for this step.
