The third generation BMW 5 Series (E34) is still a popular car well known for its robustness. So we asked a BMW Classic expert: What is important to look after, when buying such a car?
Our challenge: participating in the Allgäu-Orient Rallye 2017, to drive 6.000 kilometers (3.730 miles) in a BMW 5 Series E34 - and reach the destination.
We accompany the participants of the rallye purchasing a BMW 5 Series Touring and then preparing it in the BMW Classic garage. The experts will explain how to do little repairs and what spare-parts they should have. Will they drive the 6.000 kilometers (3.730 miles) without problems?
