It’s true that the brakes do squeal out of the box. During initial assembly may be a good time to install the resin pads ($10 for Shimano ones Amazon). You’ll need to shave down the width of one on each pair to install them into the stock calipers. Half the housing of each front/rear caliper unfortunate is not symmetrical with its other half. Quality control issue nut once resolved, the bike is tons of fun.
