The fourth-generation Mitsubishi Outlander arrived in Australia in late 2021 to a generally positive reception.

So far we’ve tested out the higher-spec models such as the Aspire front-wheel drive flagship, the Exceed Tourer all-wheel drive flagship and the subsequent Plug-In Hybrid EV version.

But now it’s time to sample the cheaper LS 2WD to find out if a bit less gear and bling in exchange for a lower sub-$40K price is a combination worth considering.
