From our #WomeninSTEM TV series meet Kimberly Wiefling, who thought she was not cut out do math or science and decided to pursue a career as a medical technician. But then something happened on her way to get that coveted medical technician certification. Somebody told her she should consider majoring in science and she followed their advice and majored in physics and what happened next is history as they say.

This clip is a highlight of our conversation with Wiefling, where we find out about her journey of leaving home at 18 years of age to go join the Air Force and what she decided to do after that and how she came to work in Silicon Valley. She switched from working for startups to working as a global consultant for impossible projects. Impossible is a word that does not exist in her dictionary.
