So kick back and relax as we dive head first into chapter one of Hideaki Anno's magnum opus in an attempt to understand Shinji, Misato, and why I keep mispronouncing Ritsuko's name.

This is the first proper deep-dive into Evangelion, much requested after my last essay on the series, so I hope you all enjoy! Mostly just sharing the details and motifs I noticed while rewatching the show that maybe slipped under your radar as well.
