The new Hollyland Mars 400S Pro is a wild new device! It’s a wireless transmission system that is built for live-streaming. You can stream directly to OBS by connecting this via USB-C to Ethernet, or wirelessly if your computer is LAN connected to the internet. Wild times! Its lowest possible latency is 0.08 seconds. I’m assuming that’s based on the SDI connection because I was clocking 0.22 seconds using the HDMI/Panasonic combo, which admittedly is probably the slowest HDMI signal chain among mirrorless cameras. Nevertheless, an interesting system to be sure. The built in frequency sweep is a KILLER function in it! Check out all my thoughts on this thing in this episode.
