Nissan debuted the third-generation Qashqai in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region what seems like yesterday. Three years after its launch in 2021, the Japanese carmaker is already getting set to release a revised model in an effort to keep its competitive advantage in the fiercely competitive compact crossover market.

Although the small SUV is still relatively new, Nissan is preparing a makeover to keep it competitive with more recent and up-and-coming models.The current third generation Nissan Qashqai has been on the market for 2.5 years, yet the carmaker is already working on a facelift. An SUV prototype with some of its exterior camouflaged was observed being tested on public roads. Updates to the exterior will probably concentrate on the front end, where the controversial headlights of the departing model appear to take on a more traditional appearance. The wider intakes on the redesigned V-motion grille and the lowered Nissan symbol on the grille are two further modifications.
