Porsche 987 Cayman... A Guide Of The Common Issues To Look For When In The Market for a 987!! A little over a year ago I released the 986 Boxster video covering some of the issues you may find on that generation Boxster.. turns out that video was pretty popular so I decided to create a similar video this time covering the 987 Cayman. It turns out some the very same issues that plagued the 986 also affect the 987 as well but with some differences. In this video I go review a brief history of Porsche building mid-engine sports cars and what makes the initial release of the 987 Cayman so special! I then cover what are some of the common issues you may find on these models covering, IMS, RMS, Cylinder scoring and much more! Regardless of some of these issues I highly recommend the 987 Cayman as this vehicle is a lot of bang for your buck. I briefly cover what you should be able to pick up one of these cars for!
