When we finished slitting and rewiding the thermoset carbon fiber prepreg tape or fiberglass tape.
Splicing the prepreg tail to replace re-feeding the uni-directional tape saves the most time.
We designed a special splicing table for joining CFRP prepreg and thermoplastic UD prepreg tape only by heating.
When epoxy resin and other thermoplastic resin meet the heat, they will be fixed together.
