The Davis Mountains are the second highest mountain range in Texas and are arguably the most scenic and varied mountains in the state. In my opinion, there should be a National Park or Recreation Area in the wilderness surrounding Mount Livermore. Ideally it would remain somewhat rustic and give more consistent access to the area.
