How to Replace the Intake Manifold, Valve Cover, and PCV Hose on the GM Ecotec 1.4L Engine:    • How to Replace the Intake Manifold, V...
In this video I show how to diagnose the PCV issue, and replace the intake manifold, valve cover, and PCV hose on a Chevy Cruze. The repair is the exact same for the Chevy Sonic and Buick Encore. This repair is meant to address the PCV issues that cause your car to throw the P0171 check engine light code. It can result in a rough idle, and the smell of burning oil, as well as many other issues such as gasket failure of the valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket which results in leaking oil. Please let me know if you have any questions about the process.
