This video follows a generation of hybrid sorghum seeds from initial planting of seeds in mid-January, and then transplanting the young plants into the unique greenhouse ground beds at the University of Illinois. CABBI Feedstock Production researcher, Anthony Studer, an Associate Professor of Crop Sciences at UIUC provides the details of the greenhouse, and why it's so important to furthering genetic research into these hybrid sorghum lines.
