Robot automation is the next step to improve efficiencies with machining. Setting up the ZA6 Robot next to the Tormach Mill is relatively straight forward, but there are some items to consider to do it properly to prevent collisions. After the robot has been setup next to the mill you will then need to get them to talk to each other with some simple network configurations. You can connect through a local area network, or by using an inexpensive network switch. Tormach also offers a USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter if you need that: https://tormach.com/usb-3-0-to-gigabi...

Once the ZA6 is setup physically and with a network, then you have to move onto PathPilot and add the mill onto the Discovered Machines section of the setup page.
